Learning Objectives for the 2019 Meeting:

  •       Promote cooperation among cancer centres/programs in Atlantic Canada and improve the quality of patients’ cancer care
  •       Discuss recent developments in the management of malignant melanoma
  •       Discuss recent developments in preventing and managing cardiac complications of cancer treatment
  •       Review recent developements in assessing and treating thromboembolic events
  •       Learn to navigate drug funding options, and understand the pitfalls
  •       Discuss breast reconstruction and how to integrate it with adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation therapy
  •       Review recent developments in adjuvant chemotherapy for early stage breast cancer
  •       Review develpments in treatment of high grade glioma

 

 


 

This meeting is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for category one CME credits within the MOC Program. It is also accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
