Learning Objectives for the 2018 Meeting:

·         Promote cooperation among cancer centres/programs in Atlantic Canada and improve the quality of patients’ cancer care

·         Discuss recent developments in the management of gastrointestinal tumors including cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma.

·         Discuss current management and new therapeutic options for neuroendocrine tumors.

·         Review the optimal management of high risk localized and newly diagnosed metastatic prostate cancer as well as advanced urothelial cancer.

·         Enhance knowledge in the use of radiation with the new immuno-oncology therapies.

·         Gain more knowledge in the assessment of pelvic symptoms post cancer treatment.

·         Understand the concept and importance of resiliency in oncology health care professionals

 


 

This meeting is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for category one CME credits within the MOC Program. A certificate will be issued to attendees during the meeting.
